What’s actually in the quote

Three parts, one number.

A dental implant isn’t one thing — it’s three, working together to rebuild a missing tooth from the root up. Here’s what’s covered at this rate.

01 / Post

The Implant

A small titanium post placed into your jawbone, standing in for the root of your missing tooth. Over a few months it fuses with the bone — a process called osseointegration — so it holds as firmly as a natural root.

02 / Connector

The Abutment

The small connector piece that attaches to the top of the implant once it’s healed. It’s what the visible crown is built onto, and it’s fitted precisely to your bite.

03 / Crown

The Crown

A custom, tooth-colored crown shaped and shaded to match your smile. It’s the only part anyone else will ever see — and it’s built to look like it was always there.

Why choose an implant

The closest thing to your real tooth back.

Doesn’t move, doesn’t shift

Unlike a bridge or denture, an implant is anchored in bone. It won’t slip when you eat, laugh, or talk.

Leaves neighboring teeth alone

A bridge requires grinding down the healthy teeth next to the gap. An implant stands on its own.

Keeps your jawbone healthy

Chewing pressure on the implant signals your jaw to keep the bone underneath — something a denture can’t do.

Built to last decades

With normal brushing, flossing, and cleanings, an implant can be the last tooth replacement you ever need.

Common questions

Before you call, a few honest answers.

It covers the implant post, abutment, and crown as quoted above for a standard single-tooth case. Bone grafting or extractions, if you need them, are priced separately — Dr. Oh will tell you upfront during your consult whether your case needs either, before anything is booked.

Placement is done under local anesthesia and most patients describe it as easier than expected. Some mild soreness afterward is normal and manageable with over-the-counter pain relief.

Most healthy adults are. The main requirements are enough jawbone to anchor the post and healthy gums — if bone is thin, it can often be built up first. We’ll confirm your specific case at the consult.

Typically three to six months from placement to final crown, since the post needs time to fuse with your jawbone. You’re not left without a tooth in the meantime — we’ll discuss options at your consult.
